As a Certified Interior Designer in the State of Minnesota, Klockeman has numerous examples of interiors skillfully and creatively realized including: homes, daycare centers, offices, schools, and churches. This experience includes furnishings, window treatments, lighting and other accessories. Site Planning

Often the first test fit for any given site under consideration is the site plan. Will the building fit properly within the property's setback and easements? Will both pedestrian and vehicle flow work together? Is there enough room for the required parking? What about green space? Utilities? The list goes on. Master Planning

Coupled with site planning is master planning. Master planning is looking ahead into your future, based on what is known now, to allow for building expansion, parking expansion, or future roadways. This done to ensure the first phase doesn't get in the way of subsequent phases to keep your future needs reachable with the least amount of rework. REBUILD STUDIO•LLC comes to the table with a great deal of experience master planning roadway corridors, subdivisions, campuses, individual properties large and small. Scale is not really the issue. It is the understanding of how things fit together and how to optimize those relationships that is the difference maker.

3D Modeling | CAD

The tools of design communication has changed significantly over the last decade. REBUILD STUDIO | LLC has kept pace by utilizing the capacity of generating more and more 3D views of what it is that we're designing. How many clients come away from meetings with their designers scratching their heads wondering what they just agreed to? We will not allow this to continue to happen under our watch. With modeling tools as simple as SketchUp and as complex as Rhinoceros 3D, we take on the responsibility of showing you, in ways you'll readily understand, exactly what it is you're looking at and how it will look from many different vantage points. CAD is still on the menu as well, as it transitions to Building Information Modeling (BIM) - we utilize both AutoCAD and Revit software based on your needs and requirements.

Specifications

Specifications are the bread and butter of any project as they spell out the how-to's and what's of materials and assemblies. With many specification successfully written, REBUILD STUDIO | LLC has the knowledge and expertise to assembly complete construction document packages in-house. This keeps the control of critical elements to be found in the project in one place - fully coordinated and well considered. Specifications are the difference maker setting the standard for quality of materials and components for your project to ensure a long life with low maintenance. When substitution requests come along, we have the experience to weigh their potential benefits and shortfalls and make informed and reasoned recommendations to you. We keep the project moving forward.

Sustainability

This could be at the top of the list - and often is as we consider projects as they develop. Sustainability is more than one particular rating system - like LEED. It is a mindset. It is the approach to things. It is a core belief system - one of responsible stewardship. Writing for Publications

Over past several years Klockeman has authored five articles for trade publications including, Walls & Ceilings magazine, Metal Construction News and others. He composed all the narrative on this website within one week. He is both prolific and thoughtful. His writing has a certain clarity to it that is also found in his design efforts. Reasonable? Yes. Timely? Yes. Knowledgeable? Certainly. Adaptable to your requirements? Always. His writing is an example of his excellent way of explaining even complicated topics with a real grasp of what is essential information. In order to perform effective review, inspections (and observations) you must have the knowledge and expertise that has come through years of experience - having faced many different types of situations and responded to them with timeliness and commitment.
